On a German movie kick at the moment: Goodbye Lenin, The Lives of Others (Das Leben der Anderen), The Edukators.

Very good films. Two of them are set around the time of the fall of the wall in East/West Germany. The Edukators is about class war. Watching it I started questioning the desire I have for ‘things’ and money.

Why do people live in such large houses? Do they even consider that themselves, or blindly follow the path of richness? Like people who get married and have children – because it’s fed into them at a young age.
